Throughout National Engineers Week the IT's participated every chance they had. We won the Ballistics tournament, we won our boxing match, had 2 people donate blood, donated 3 large bags of food, had 3 people "Dress Like an Engineer". Overall we participated in every event and had a very strong showing at each one. When it came down to awards day ITS was told they won 2nd Place with a score of 33 points to Engineers Without Borders 35 points. This was disputed and found out later that the Engineering Council had added the points wrong and ITS tied Engineers without Borders 35 points to 35 points, and ITS had participated in every event, Engineers Without Borders had not. The Engineering Council could not change their choice even though the judges based their decision on false scores. No reasonable explanation was given. You be the judge of what was fair. ITS is not complaining about placing 2nd; and Engineers Without Borders did work hard, however you must ask yourself , "Was this judged fairly?"
